The Concept

Oy Pizza is a Jewish-Global Fusion food brand built in New York City. Every menu item follows one unbreakable rule: one Jewish, Yiddish, or Hebrew word combined with one global food item. No exceptions. Ever.

We are not a kosher restaurant. We are a Jewish-soul restaurant. The difference matters. We aspire to kosher where possible — dairy-free cheese options, no pork — but we are driven by flavor and culture, not certification.

Oy Pizza is built on a discovery mechanism: some of our menu names use obvious Jewish words. Others use words that everyone already uses every day — without knowing they are Jewish. Glitch. Nosh. Schmooze. Boss. When a guest reads the description and thinks "wait, that word is Jewish?" — that is the Oy Pizza moment. That moment is the brand.

No word used more than once across the entire menu — ever. Translation always in parentheses. Brand spellings override standard: Hutzpa not Chutzpah, Mazza not Mazza.
