What is a Founder?
The first 1,000 customers become permanent named Founders. Here's what that means.

First 1,000 customers. Forever badge.
Sign up before we hit 1,000 members and you become a Founder. Your name carries a permanent badge. You get first access to baskets, first listening sessions at the venue, and a slightly louder vote in what the brand becomes.
After 1,000, the door doesn't close — but the Founder badge does. It's a one-time room.
2 · Why We're Doing This
A brand built by a thousand people is harder to fake.
We don't want OyPizza to feel like a marketing campaign with a community attached. We want a community with a brand attached. So we start with 1,000 named people who get to argue with us, in writing, while the brand is still small enough to actually listen.
A boardroom can launch a food brand in six months. A community-built brand takes a thousand humans first. We chose the second one.
3 · What You Get
Five concrete things.
1 · Permanent named badge. Your username carries the Founder badge anywhere on the site. It doesn't expire. It doesn't transfer. Someone joining in 2030 can see who was here in 2026.
2 · First basket access. When commerce opens late 2026, Founders see the first batch before the public. Limited inventory at the gate goes to Founders first.
3 · First listening session at the Manhattan venue. When the venue opens Spring 2027, Founders get the first room. The opening night isn't a press event — it's the people who got us there.
4 · A vote that counts more. On dish submissions, jokes, songs — Founder votes carry slightly more weight than non-Founder votes. Not a veto, not a controlling stake. A heavier seat at the same table.
5 · A name on the wall. The Manhattan venue will have the names of the first 1,000 Founders posted, in the order they joined. If you're #437, you're #437 forever.
4 · What We Ask
Show up, occasionally.
No quotas, no required posts, no fee. We ask that you actually use your account once in a while — vote on submissions, comment on a story, tell us when we got something wrong. The badge is for participating, not just registering.
5 · Why "First 1,000"
A number small enough to know, big enough to matter.
A hundred is too few — a brand built by a hundred people is somebody's friend group. Ten thousand is too many — at that point the people setting the table no longer fit at it.
A thousand is the size of a small village. It's the size where every voice still counts but the room is genuinely diverse. That's the room we want for the first chapter.
6 · Honest Notes
What being a Founder is not.
Not equity. The Founder badge is not a security, not a share, not an investment. It does not entitle you to a percentage of the company, to dividends, or to any financial return. OyPizza is a food brand operated by Rigli Publishing, not a fundraising vehicle.
Not a guarantee. Founder benefits depend on us actually shipping the things we say we'll ship. If commerce slips, basket access slips with it. We will tell you the truth about timelines.
Not transferable. The badge is tied to your account. You can't sell it, you can't gift it, you can't pass it on. It's yours, full stop.
